Avocado Toast with Za'atar (Palestine)
This is Sarah’s recipe for a quick, healthy, and simple way to get energized before fasting for the day. Check out Sarah’s story and Iftar recipes here.
Sarah uses Za’atar (imported from Palestine) on everything she can. On top of being her Palestinian touch, it’s also a family tradition. Her dad insists she should have a little bit everyday.
She uses it as a regular seasoning, but finds it’s best consumed sprinkled over some olive oil-dipped bread.
